Research

I will now be looking at different films and games to do with floating cities and just cities, eg Starwars, Appleseed, Laputa City in the sky, halws moving castle, Final fantasy, stargate atlantis, Ratchit and clank, Grand theft auto, Matrix Zion, Dragonball (Kami lookout) jack 2, and also robots, and many more.

I decided to use these pictures to create a mood, I like the dark and gloomy effect that the images create. I will also use pictures take in the day time to give the actual feel of my estate.

These pictures are taken from my area because i live in an councle estate, which is very helpful for creating my estate.

I have decided to remodel my own area and use it as section 2 of my brief.

Brief: Seed City. City in the sky

Seed city, a new advanced city created after the world war 4 in the year 2050. This city was constructed and taken from the plane of the earth leaving it to float in mid air. Seed city is made of a valuable stone with amazing powers. These stones gives the city the ability to float away from the plane of the earth, but also hepled with the use of propellas.
This city was created because mankind as we knew it was slowly being wiped out, the world was coming to an end, so in a desprate attempet to save mankind from extictions was to create Seed City.
The city consists of 4 different environments connected to one.

1. The main City it self
2. An ubran environment (councle estates)
3. Wildlife
4. The main part of the city. (The Government).

The city was a very peacefull place to live in. It was created with a mix of both humans and robots. these robets are given human charactics, feeling and thoughts.
The robots are the seed of the city where the city got its rightfull name.

This a bit of a story which i have been wrighting.
For my project, I am going to attempt to create two sections of my city, Number1 and Number2.
I will alicate my self with the tack of going out and taking pictures.
The maine places i will visit are Councle estates, and also i will go into londonfor ideas of architecture, large buildings and city life.
I will attempt to create my own textures through the picture i take.
